While our finishes provide a durable protective coating, there are some tips to keep your pieces looking their best.
Using a water-dampened soft cloth, clean spills or marks as soon as possible, followed by wiping with a clean dry cloth to remove any moisture.
Avoid using harsh solvents, as this may break down the finishes. Likewise, avoid placing wet or hot items directly on the wood.
Do not store in damp or extreme temperature environments; wood remains a "living" material even after being incorporated into a piece of furniture, and, as such, continues to expand and contract with changes in temperature and humidity.
For minor scratches, you may use a touch-up product such as Minwax Wood Finish Stain Marker.
