Live-edge maple slab headboard with traditional hand-cut butterfly or spline joints to stabilize cracks. Solid wood back braces are constructed to stabilize slab and provide French cleat mounting system. Each piece features the unique shape and grain of the wood used.

This maple slab was sourced from a sawyer in Livermore Falls, Maine.  Hand-applied oil & wax.
